Getting Real with Ourselves

Letting your light shine is one of the most powerful moves you will ever make. Yet isn't it fascinating how we've each mastered our own unique ability of being visible, while remaining partly unseen?

True visibility is the gateway to your soul's liberation. It is your essence, pure and unfiltered, a sacred reflection of Source itself.

It's a deep, raw wisdom that comes from our hearts.

It nudges us to step out from behind the safety of our veils, the ones we've perfected over years of expectations, conditioning, comparisons and belonging.

It asks us to show up with all our compassion and presence. Consciously choosing our true self over what is acceptable or desirable.

This choice to be seen is perhaps our greatest act of power. It is where we claim our Sovereignty and own our space - as we invite others to witness our whole, beautiful, truth.

When we hide who we are from the world, we are also hiding who we are from ourselves.  And that can feel empty and unfulfilling. We miss chances to grow and participate fully in a life we are truly desiring. It's like we constantly live with one foot on the accelerator and one foot on the brake. And this in-congruence between our desire, and our resistance to that desire, creates a wobble and distortion in our energetic field. It's like broadcasting your radio station full of static and background noise.  It creates barriers between what you want and what's possible.

We are all energetic beings connected through this thread of life.  Our soul recognises truth when we encounter it in others.  When things feel aligned, we respond to that divine presence. That freedom. It's like beautiful laughter - it's infectious and delicious.

When we choose our alignment, our truth over being acceptable, we become wayshowers for others.  By holding that light, that choice and that frequency, we are saying that it's safe and powerful to show up as our genuine selves in the world. Even when others disapprove.  Our courage and visibility becomes an invitation for others to awaken and step into their own light.

When we stop filtering and editing ourselves we allow our light to shape deeper connections. This happens effortlessly.  It does not require striving, forcing, pushing or pretending. It just is.  The great mystics and artists have always know this truth and use this to channel their creative force.

We don't have to wait to be all “put together”. In fact, it's quite the opposite. It's through being kind and compassionate with ourselves and our perceived mess. And funnily enough these "imperfections" often become the bridges to our deepest connections - the very things that make us the most relatable and inspiring to others.

Take this blog for example. It is being written to you not from a place of perfection or mastery but from a gentle knowing that I too walk this path to wholeness alongside you.

While it may feel scary at first, the freedom and power that comes from expressing your divine self are worth every step into the unknown.

It's looking that voice of doubt in the eye and saying “I see you - but I'm choose my highest self. I'm choosing to show up, to embrace this beautiful, sacred risk with courage. Not because I've conquered all my fears, but because I know my unique light, my story, my presence has value in this world."

Each step is shouting to the Universe… this way!  I am walking this way now. I am responsible for making the choices that make my soul sing.  It is not something I can outsource or ask of others.  I have the power and the ability - even when it scares me. Especially when it scares me!  Know there is a divine presence flowing through you.  Those inspirations, those nudges are there for a reason. Trust you are being nudged along your perfect path to freedom.

So do that thing that you have been wanting to do, and feel ready for, but haven't because you are afraid of other's judgements or response. Take one small step towards your goal, your vision, your dream. Create something that reflects your truth, your voice, your light. Make that pottery, write that story, run that program, call that client, say yes to that new job.

Choose self compassion over the ego's criticism.

Choose your uniqueness over perfection.

Your “yes” might just be the divine catalyst someone else needs to see, hear or feel for them to do the very same.
